Bangladesh has marked a considerable growth in ICT sector since 1980s. The establishment of telecentres across the country will foster rural economy and access to information for community people will be easier.
Larry Maramis, Deputy Country Director of the UNDP Bangladesh, said this while speaking as chief guest in a two-day workshop on ‘Sustainable Community based Electronic Centre (CeC)’ at IDB Bhaban in the city.
