Bail to Hasina, ACC notice: SC to hear govt appeals for stay tomorrow

The Appellate Division (AD) on Tuesday fixed August 16 to hear the government’s petitions seeking stay of the High Court order for granting Awami League President and former prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s bail and staying operation of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) notice to submit her wealth statement
The court also asked the government to file regular civil petitions (CPs) for leave to appeal by this time, but no order of staying the High Court order was issued. [Read more]
