NGOs suspend loan recovery programme

Most of the Non Government Organisations (NGOs) of the country have suspended or relaxed their regular loan recovery job and have taken massive rehabilitation programme for the flood-hit people.
Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), the government’s funding agency, has issued an eight-point guideline for the NGOs on how to help the destitute. It has directed the NGOs not to recover their disbursed loan for the time being and also to give back their deposited money. [Read more]
