Five members of a family were killed and eight others injured in a fatal accident as a bus rammed into their microbus in the port city on Sunday morning.
Police and witnesses said tragedy struck down the family of an expatriate while they were going to Shah Amanat International Airport here to receive him on his return from Oman.
The deceased were identified as Mallika Khatun, 60, her nephew Abu Taiyab, who was driving his own micro, and her granddaughters Joynab Begum, 5, Kamrunnahar, 17, and Lutfa Begum, 7. [Read more]
