Detained Awami League president Sheikh Hasina may be allowed to see her ailing husband Dr. MA Wazed Miah at Square Hospital on Tuesday.
DIG(Prisons) Major Shamsul Haider Siddiqui told UNB they have received former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s application Saturday night seeking to see her husband. The application has already been sent to the Home Ministry for final approval.
“We hope we will receive a positive massage from the Home Ministry accepting her appeal Tuesday. After geting the order, we’ ll take her to Square Hospital,” Major Siddiqui said. [Read more]
