Chief Adviser Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed on Sunday made a clarion call to all classes and professionals irrespective of party and opinion to come forward to the aid of the flood victims.
He made the call in his address to the nation aired by Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar as well as all private TV channels on Sunday night
“Whatever capacity you have, extend your hands and take part in relief activities spontaneously. Otherwise, our responsibilities as citizens of an independent country will remain unaccomplished,” he told the nation. [Read more]
