Tax Ombudsman Khairuzzaman Chowdhury has said that the allegations against the tax officials of harassing the taxpayers may not come true to the extent as it was heard earlier.
The Ombudsman, since he came to his office one year ago, received a very few allegation against the tax collectors but found not a single case in which the government exchequer needed to refund the taxed-money to the taxpayer.
