The National Board of Revenue is not taking into consideration the payment of tax by the beleaguered former Prime Minister and BNP chairperson, Khaleda Zia, to legalize her untaxed money as she didn’t do it in the prescribed way. “We will not legalize her undeclared money as she did not pay the tax on our prescribed form,” said NBR chairman Badiur Rahman, a day after she channeled Tk 33 lakh in tax through Bangladesh Bank.
