BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia possesses wealth worth about Tk 2.5 crore, said her lawyer yesterday.
Besides, the former prime minister has no movable or immovable property abroad.
Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan said the former prime minister would submit her wealth statement to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) by next week. “Preparation of Khaleda Zia’s wealth statement is now going on,” he said.
“The BNP Chairperson will submit her wealth statement to the ACC within the stipulated timeframe of the anti-graft watchdog,” he said. [Read more]
