The overall flood situation across the country takes devastating turn as water levels in 19 major rivers were flowing above their danger levels yesterday.
On the other hand, water-borne diseases like diarrhoea and dysentery are spreading fast in the low-lying areas of the capital Dhaka and adjoining areas due to floodwater and water logging.
