BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined an international conference on autism in Bhutan ‘disabling her own country’s politics.
“The Prime Minister often visits different countries and roam here and there in peace. She recently went to Bhutan to inaugurate a three-day international conference on persons with disabilities. But, she has no attention to her own country’s politics which she kept disabled,” he told a discussion at the National Press Club in Dhaka on Thursday, marking the 5th anniversary of ‘enforced disappearance’ of BNP leader M Ilias Ali, according to UNB.
