Poor batting cost Tigers 2nd ODI

THE Tigers tasted a bitter defeat at the hands of Afghanistan. The absence of Mustafizur Rahman was sorely missed. The cricket lovers of Bangladesh believe that the presence of Fiz could have made all the difference.
Credit must go to the visiting team for the spirited performance and now they have a golden opportunity to win the series. Mosaddek and Shakib tried their best but other members of the team failed to respond. Bangladesh batsmen failed to build a respectable total and a score of 208 was far from being a respectable one in an ODI when we often see 200 or more runs being scored in T20 matches.
But we are happy to see the performance of debutant Mosaddek whose 45 valuable runs gave the Tigers a chance to fight till the end. Credit must go to the bowlers for bowling their heart out, but in the end it was Afghanistan who had the last laugh. I hope the Tigers will bounce back in the final game and win it in style. Best of luck to Bangladesh for the final match!
