Two workers of a floating filling station died after inhaling toxic gas while cleaning a tank in the Shitalakhya River under Siddhirganj upazila under Narayanganj on Friday.

The deceased could not be identified yet.

Sources at Siddhirganj Police Station said the two workers fell ill while cleaning the tank of the floating filling station in Ati area around 5pm.

They were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the capital where doctors declared them dead.
