Screen of the Amar Ekushey Book Fair -popularly known as Ekushey Boi Mela, which is a rendezvous of publishers, writers and book lovers - will rise at the Bangla Academy premises today (Monday).
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the month-long fair at 4:00 pm. Bangla Academy has been organising the fair like previous years in the memory of the martyrs of the 1952 language movement.
A total of 505 stalls have been allotted to 356 organisations including voluntary, government,
semi government, mass media and social organisations. [Read more]
