Sitakunda police Sunday night filed a case implicating six persons including son of the owner of Rahim Steel Mills Company Ltd in connection with explosion at the ship-breaking yard that left four workers killed and 15 others injured.
Sub-Inspector Azam Khan of Sitakund police station filed the case implicating Mohammad Israfil, director of the company and son of the shipyard owner Abdur Rahim, ship dismantling contractor Alam, employees of the shipyard firm -Mohammad Alam, Jafar Ahmed, Yousuf and Abu Saleh. [Read more]
