Speakers at a function yesterday urged the government to include mental health component under the primary health care service to reach the treatment of mental disorder at the doorsteps of the rural people.
The country’s 16.05 per cent people aged over 18 years somehow or other suffer from mental disease, they said at a discussion arranged on the occasion of World Mental Health Day at the National Mental Health Institute and Hospital in the city. [Read more]
