The Central Bank yesterday announced that from now it will provide credit information to banks and financial institutions within five working days.
Briefing newsmen Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank AHM Kai-Khasru said the quick service, as per the central bank service standard, would be provided from Wednesday.
He said the Credit Information Bureau (CIB) had a huge backlog of over 60,000 inquiries for credit information because of increased demand for credit information. [Read more]
