Three people, including two contractors, were shot and wounded in separate gun attacks in the city’s Mohammadpur and Pallabi areas yesterday.
Contractors Osman Gani, 45, and Abdul Sobhan, 40, were shot at Salimullah road of Mohammadpur at noon.
Hospital sources said a gang of some terrorists opened fire on Osman and Sobhan while they were getting into their vehicle at about 12:30pm, leaving them injured.
They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Condition of Osman, who received bullets in the head, chest and back, was stated to be critical, hopsital sources said. [Read more]
