BNP-Jamaat led ‘White Panel’ won majority of seats in the election of 35 teachers’ representatives to the Dhaka University Senate held yesterday. Of the 35 seats, white panel bagged 18 seats while pro-Awami League led ‘Blue Panel’ got 17 seats in the Senate, the highest policy-making body of the University.
The winners from White Panel are- Abu Ahmed, Dr Abbas Ali Khan, Dr Abul Hasnat, Dr ABM Obaidul Islam, Dr Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Dr Tazmeri SA Islam, Dr Nevin Farida, Dr Borhan Uddin Khan, Dr Mamun Ahmed, Dr Md Akhtar Hossein Khan, Dr Md Abul Bashar, Md Ferdous Hossein, Md Lutfur Rahman, Dr Md Serajul Islam, Dr Md Hasanuzzaman, Dr Laila Noor Islam, Dr Sadrul Amin and Dr Saiyad Salehin Kadri.
