As part of its restructuring efforts the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is going to filling up some vacant positions in the standing committee soon.
If the seats were filled up, have been lying vacant for long time, would greatly help gear up the organisational activities of the party, say observers.
The influential leaders of the party had reportedly started lobbying for getting position in the coveted body.
Those who are dedicated, honest and also competent for the post shall be considered to be included in the standing committee, party sources said. [Read more]
