DSE, CSE fall sharply on 2nd day of BDR mutiny

Share prices both in Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges moved dramatically yesterday as news of lay down of arms and also firing by the BDR mutineers spread allover the day closing the indices lower in both burses. As the news of arms lay down spread in the morning the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened higher but started to drop when news of resumption of firing reached to the brokerage houses.
Stock brokers said indices again took a sharp upturn after the BDR men stopped firing. [Read more]
