Bangladesh stressed on resolving border and security issues while India insusted for an extradition treaty with Bangladesh, as the Dhaka-Delhi Home Secretary level talks kicked off at Hotel Sheraton in the city yesterday.
The two sides put on the table various proposals to tackle cross-border crimes, halt killing of innocent civilians and demarcate common boundary.

“Curbing criminals activities, narcotics smuggling and trafficking in women and children, and the Tin Bigha Corridor will be discussed in the meeting,” Bangladesh Home Secretary Abdul Karim said, ahead of the meeting. [Read more]
