A total of 23 police high officials have been given transfers and postings in a latest reshuffle in the police administration.
A Home Ministry announcement yesterday evening said DIG of police headquarters Syed Shahjaman Raaz was elevated to additional IGP posted at the police headquarters and DIG of Barisal range Mohammad Aminul Islam also made additional IGP at the police headquarters while commandant (additional DIG) DTS, CID, Dhaka, Amulya Bhushan Barua joint commissioner (additional DIG) of DMP.
