A young man was shot dead and three people, including the victim’s two brothers, were wounded in a gun attack at Wari in the city’s Sutrapur area yesterday evening.
Police said a gang of 5 to 6 gunmen sprayed bullets on the three brothers — Atiqur Rahman Khan, 35, Ashiqur Rahman Khan, 30, and Arifur Rahman Khan, 35, sons of late Roisuddin Khan, while they were chatting in front of their residence at 4/1 Rankin Street at about 7:30pm, leaving them seriously injured.
Another man, Robin, 22, also suffered bullet wounds as he was standing there during the gun attack. [Read more]
