The biennial election of the apex trade body Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) will be held today.
A total of 45 candidates will fight for the 24 posts of directors. Some 24 candidates are contesting from chamber groups and 21 from association groups in this election. Vote will be cast from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to be held at FBCCI building at city’s Motijheel area, said an FBCCI election board official. The results of the election will be announced on the same day.
