UNB, Dhaka
A special court, trying high-profile corruption suspects, is scheduled to hear today charges on the barge-mounted power plant graft case against detained ex-premier Sheikh Hasina and six others.
The charge hearing by the court was deferred five times in one month following time
petitions from both the defence and the prosecution lawyers.
The case was filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on September 2 last year with Tejgaon police station. [Read more]
