After examining the health condition of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in prison, doctors yesterday advised the authorities to shift her to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital immediately for better treatment.
Prof Dr ABM Abdullah of BSMMU and Prof Pran Gopal Dutta yesterday examined Sheikh Hasina at her Special Jail on the premises of Parliament building complex in the capital. Inspector General of Prisons Brig Gen Zakir Hasan and Deputy Inspector General (Prisons) Major Shamsul Haider Siddiqui were present during the examination. [Read more]
