Dhaka University (DU) teachers belonging to the blue panel set an ultimatum of seven days for the government to release all their detained colleagues and students following the August 20-22 student unrest on and around the campus. The DU teachers belonging to white and pink panels remained aloof from the action programme.
A group of teachers, mainly belonging to pro-Awami League (AL) Blue Panel at a press briefing yesterday said they would go for greater movement together if their colleagues and students were not released within the seven days’ ultimatum that will end on January 7. [Read more]
