Students of Mass Communication Department of Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday handed over a memorandum to VC demanding the release of four convicted teachers.
The students of Mass Communication Department met Vice-Chancellor Prof M Altaf Hossain at noon yesterday and delivered the memorandum signed by 162 students of the department. They also requested the VC not to release the convicted teachers from service.
Copy of the memorandum was also sent to Chief Adviser (CA), Chief Justice, Army Chief, Education Adviser, UGC chairman, Law Adviser and editors of all national print and electronic media. [Read more]
