The Following the withdrawal of restriction on merchant banks, brokerage houses and portfolio managers from providing margin loans and credit facilities for clients the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) bounced back yesterday showing recovery of stock prices to some extent after a five-day bearish trend.
SEC on Monday withdrew restriction on loans and credit facilities amid demonstration by the small investors in front of the DSE building as the prices of stocks continued to fall for the fifth consecutive days. [Read more]
