BNP chairperson’s adviser Brig (Retd) ASM Hannan Shah and his three co-accused were sent to the Dhaka Central Jail after they were produced before the CMM court yesterday at the end of the three-day police remand in a case filed under the emergency rules.Magistrate Habibur Rahman Siddiqui of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court for Dhaka issued the order.
The court sent three other BNP men-Ali Arshad, Babul Ahmed and Mamun-to jail in line with an appeal of investigating officer Asaduzzaman, sub-inspector of Tejgaon Police Station. [Read more]
