BNP Acting Secretary General Major (retd) Hafizuddin Ahmed yesterday said they would bring about reforms in the party after the withdrawal of restriction on political activities.
“Restoration of political activities and democratic atmosphere are needed for reforms in the party,” he said, adding, “The process of refoms will be concluded in presence of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.”
Talking to journalists after a meeting with party Acting Chairman M Saifur Rahman, Hafiz said senior leaders of the party have started work to formulate a detail proposal on electoral reforms. [Read more]
