Country’s knitwear sector is getting back after to position facing adverse situation due to political instability in the country and unfavourable financial condition in its main export destination, the USA.
President of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) Fazlul Huq yesterday at a press conference said highest ever export worth US$455.05 million of knit products were shiped during August this year which is 28.35 per cent higher than the previous month. [Read more]
