Work on preparing a fresh voter list with photographs and National Identity card began in Khulna City Corporation (KCC) area yesterday with collection of data in various wards of the city.
Official sources said District Election Office (DEO) with the cooperation of Bangladesh Army is carrying out the task to make this effort a success.
The Election Commission (EC) has already appointed 35 assistant registration officers, 321 supervisors and 1,960 enumerators for collecting voters’ information from each household in the KCC area. [Read more]
