About three lakh fifty thousand garment workers in and around Dhaka city are badly affected by the ongoing floods alongwith their mostly poor neighbours.
These areas are-the eastern parts of the capital, including, Badda and DND areas-Narayanganj, Narshingdi, Manikganj and low-lying areas of Gazipur districts, including Kaliakair and some parts of Savar, where this large number of workers live and work as well. [Read more]
