Leaders of different major political parties have demanded withdrawal of ban on the indoor politics to pave the way for starting dialogue with the Election Commission (EC) on electoral reforms.
They said it will be tough for them to join the talks proposed by the EC from next month as they need to sit at their respective party forum, which is not possible due to the restriction on politics.
BNP Advisory Council Member ZA Khan told reporters that the stance of the EC to hold dialogue with political parties on electoral reforms was positive but according to him there was a technical problem. [Read more]
