Communications Adviser Maj Gen (Retd) MA Matin yesterday said the government would not inquire about the sources of income of those who would come forward to help flood affected people of the country.
“I don’t understand black money or red money. Those who have the affordability should come forward to help the distressed humanity,” he told reporters at the Shipping Ministry.
The Advisor made the remarks when reporters sought his comments on Gano Forum leader Dr Kamal Hossain’s suggestion that recovered black money should be spent for the flood victims. [Read more]
