Internationally reputed jurist Dr Kamal Hossain yesterday urged all, including the Government, members of the political parties, business community, civil society and NGOs, stand by the flood victims with national spirit to help the distressed humanity and face the calamity effectively.
“Let us save millions of people marooned or push out of homes into makeshift camps,” he said, adding, “There is no restriction in the law for people (politicians) to stand beside the flood-hit people,” he said. [Read more]
