Thirty more areas in the capital were flooded yesterday as floodwaters entered through 20 points in the low-lying eastern parts of the city.
Besides, several hours of torrential rains last night compounded the misery of thousands of marooned people in the low-lying areas of the capital where flood situation takes worst turn, inundating houses, businesses and crops.
The torrential rains happened as a low over Northwest Bay and adjoining area intensified into a well-marked low over the same area yesterday. [Read more]
