Law and Information Adviser Barrister Mainul Hosein yesterday urged the media to disseminate objective information about the current flood situation and the government’s efforts to mitigate the sufferings of the flood victims.
“We have to keep in mind that there should not be any communication gap in any disaster situation,” he said at a press briefing at the Chief Adviser’s Office on the country’s latest flood situation.
Earlier, three presentations were made at the briefing on behalf of the Ministry of Information, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief and the Armed Forces on the flood situation. [Read more]
