The Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) has set up a historic example during the existing Caretaker Government regime, as it started to demolish the upper 16 storeys of the 22-storeyed Rangs Bhaban constructed illegally at Bijoy Sarani in the city by very much influential and also powerful quarters.
Winning the Supreme Court (SC) verdict on Thursday, about 400 employees of the RAJUK started to demolish the building since Friday morning.
