Chief of Staff of Bangladesh Army General Moeen U Ahmed visited the flood-affected area of Kalmakanda Upazila under Netrakona district yesterday to see flood situation there. During his visit the Army Chief also visited a flood-shelter opened at Kalmakanda Degree College.
The Army chief talked to the inmates of the flood-shelter centre and inquired their condition and distributed relief materials-rice, pulse, oral saline and water purifying tablets-among the 200 flood hit people at the centre. [Read more]
