Md Faizul Islam, (30), arrested in connection with the killing of Advocate Sayma Khanam yesterday made confessional statement
Earlier on July 24 he was placed on a 5-day remand. He was Sunday produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court after the 5-day remand and Metropolitan Magistrate ABM Abdul Fatah recorded the confessional statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
The details of the statement could not be known. However, it was learnt that the accused admited his involvement fully with the brutal murder. [Read more]
